Jeannine Lugo has served the City of Moorpark for over ten years, holding key roles in the Recreation, Solid Waste, and Community Development. Since joining the Community Development team in 2022, Ms. Lugo has taken the lead on initiatives that strengthen customer service delivery, reduce fiscal liabilities associated with development projects, and streamline access to vital resources. She manages complex federal and state funding allocations, including grants supporting the City’s comprehensive General Plan update and the launch of an automated solar permitting system. With a Bachelor of Science in Business from California State University, Channel Islands, Ms. Lugo brings a well-rounded and solution-driven approach to local government. Her dedication to public service is reflected in her ongoing work to improve operational efficiency, increase accessibility, and enhance the community’s connection to city services. Her commitment to excellence and continual learning makes her a key contributor to the City's progress and responsiveness.
